Naft Asia successfully completed  process design of a 40,000 tons per annum capacity petroleum solvent manufacturing facility for a client in Saudi Arabia. Work involved continuous fractionation of a broad middle distillate cut into three sharply fractionated cuts ; mineral turpentine oil and two heavier solvents, using two fractionating columns.

 Naft Asia carried out complete process design of onsite and off site facilities such as feed and product storage tanks, cooling water systems, distillation columns, equipment sizing for pumps, exchangers, process flow diagrams, Piping and instrument diagrams etc.

Naft Asia carried out preliminary feasibility  study for a 300,000 BPD  grass root refinery in Egypt based on middle eastern crudes. Worked involved evolving most optimum processing option with minimum fuel oil production, product slate, unit capacities, preliminary cost estimates, land area requirements, product specifications and product offtake strategy and refinery profitability study.

 Naft Asia is currently engaged in a feasibility study for the manufacture of 100,000 tons/annum petroleum solvent for a client in UAE. Work involved deep hydrotreating of kero/diesel  feed to completely saturate aromatics, followed by fractionation to produce water white petroleum solvents meeting  FDA specifications FDA 21 CFR 172.884 and CFR 178.3650 food grade regulations. Work involved evaluation of process licensor technologies, coordination with engineering companies for preparation of detailed project report.
